Our team will be with you on your wedding day, capturing all the critical moments as they happen. From the first look to the last dance, we'll be there to document every special memory.
We will collaborate with you and your planner on a photography timeline and consult with you as much as you need. We will also help you craft a family photo list that is fluid and easy to use.
At your wedding, we are respectful of you and your guests. We understand and truly believe that weddings are not photo shoots. Yes, photography is part of the wedding event, but it should not detract from or take away from the joy, love, and connection you feel on a wedding day. We will create a seamless experience that will not interrupt your time with family and friends.

Some may ask, why have a seperate gallery? It isn’t separate. We have never separated our Queer family weddings. We see it as an additional gallery so you understand your importance to us, and see yourself in our images.

COMPLETE WEDDING WEEKENDS
We offer complete wedding photography coverage for the entire weekend, including the rehearsal dinner, wedding day, and post-wedding activities. This allows us to capture all the little moments that make up your big day, from the pre-wedding preparations to the final dance of the night.

WELCOME DRINKS OR DINNER
The welcome dinner is an important part of the wedding celebration, and we believe it should be documented just as thoroughly as the wedding day itself. Our photographers will be there to capture the toasts, the laughter, and the love shared between family and friends.

ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY
Nervous about being in front of the camera? We totally understand. We like to call our engagement sessions, pre-wedding photography sessions. There is no better way to break the ice, than to meet before your wedding day and practice the art of comfort posing and seeing in person, before your wedding day, how we work.

After you inquire, we'll set up a consult via zoom or over the phone, where we'll determine together if we're the right fit.

We develop a tailored proposal outlining our wedding photography services and costs for your wedding day.

We'll work with you and your planner to ensure your vision will come true. We have an unlimited consultation policy - that means text or email us when you have a question or concern.

As storytellers, we know that your relationship is more than just a wedding day. We also want you to get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day.

This comes with a delivery of our wedding guide and two questionnaires. One is just a catch all questionnaire, and the other is for your family portrait list. From this, and the timeline from your planner, we will create a custom photography timeline. We will set up a time with you for our final consultation - going over the timeline and any other details needed.

While you are honeymooning we will be busy processing all the images. We deliver your finished images in a beautiful password protected gallery within 30 days of your wedding.

We custom quote every wedding from the smallest affair to the largest luxury wedding weekend event.
But we understand you want to have an idea of what our prices are. We have no problem sending you a general pricing guide, but we will still work on a custom quote for you.
Most couples, for most wedding weekends, will spend between 6800-9000.

Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, we’ll need a completed contract and a 40% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance will be due 4 weeks before your wedding day.

Travel is included for all weddings taking place within 75 minutes from zip code 12572

Most couples get anywhere between 500 and 1200 pictures. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding depending on variables such as length of your day, how many guests, and the different events within the day.

We delivered your fully edited gallery of pictures in less than 30 days.

Yes! And I absolutely love them. We do two different kinds: a modern layflat album with thick pages and photographic paper bound in a luxurious leather or linen cover, or a magazine style book with thin pages. Both are really cool, and will last a lifetime with proper care.
Albums are sold a la carte after your wedding day.

We offer both Hudson Valley and New York City engagements. Engagement sessions are photographed Monday through Thursdays (we are working on the weekends shooting weddings!)

Let’s face it having a photographer is a luxury at any price level.
Pricing is based on the market level of an individual’s skill set, experience, and creativity.

I shoot with Sony A7RV cameras right now with a variety of prime lenses. For lighting I use Profoto flashes.

Yes. If your venue requires us to provide a certificate of insurance we are happy to provide that to them.

My expertise is still photography. I am happy to provide you with a list of recommended videographers who are great at what they do.

While we deliver our images within 30 days (we think that is pretty fast!), we get it that some folks want their pictures sooner. We can do a rush delivery (you get your images in 8 days) for an additional fee of 1500.

You should choose Hudson River after you have looked through our website, after you have viewed a few full galleries, and after you have met me on zoom. If you everything is in alignment then you know you have made the right choice.
We have had an amazing roster of couples during the last 16 years of photographing weddings - and that is a lot of weddings (over 300+).
The one thing we know, is when it’s a good fit, it’s a good fit. I don’t believe in high-pressure sales and am committed to being fully transparent.
